INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE AFRICAN CHILD : EDUCATION FOR ALL – THE TIME IS NOW

June 16 marks the International Day of the African Child, a day of profound significance that commemorates the brave students killed during the Soweto Uprising in South Africa in 1976. This day not only honors their memory but also raises awareness of the ongoing need to improve education for children across the African continent. The theme for this year, “Education for All Children in Africa: The Time is Now,” underscores the urgency of ensuring that every child has access to quality education.
